It’s December! The month of CHRISTMAS!
The most magical month of the whole year. Snow falling {in most parts of the country}, Christmas Trees everywhere, lights, glitter, decorations galore. Truly magical everywhere you go.
A few years ago in honor of Christmas I did 25 Days of Cookies and it was magical. Yup, yet another thing to make December a magical time of year. To this day I still have coworkers who benefited from the 25 days of cookies ask me about my cookie baking.

This year in honor of the season, I will be doing 25 Days of Christmas with My Urban Oven. You can look forward to a new post every day for the next 25 days. Posts will be focused obviously on the Christmas season, with {more} cookie recipes, appetizer ideas for the many holiday parties you will be invited to, decorating DIY projects, cocktail recipes to drink alone or with friends, and gift giving ideas.
To kick of the month, I am going to throw back to 2011 once again, and share a few of most pinned cookie recipe from the 25 Days of Cookies. Pardon the photos… they are 4 years old, before I learned anything about taking a photo {wait… I still don’t know much}.

All those cookies look so good! I’m sure the last thing I need to be doing is binge eating cookies, BUT those look worth the few extra pounds! Looking forward to more recipes!

That is such a fun idea. I look forward to seeing what the 25 days of Christmas will hold. I will admit this afternoon I set up our tree at the office and felt in the spirit.

Those cookies all look so good, especially the Salted Chocolate Caramel ones. I’m not much of a baker, but I might have to try those.
