Day 18 of 25 Days of Christmas My Urban Oven Style!
Since it is Friday we need to have a drink. That’s what Fridays are for, right?
Cheers!
I am drinking one of these lovelies while wrapping presents. No, not Christmas presents, but Birthday presents.
My best friend and {future} brother-in-law both had birthdays this past week and we are going to celebrate with them tonight. So I might have rushed it a little there, he is only my sister-in-laws boyfriend, but we love him like family.
As you know, I love wrapping presents {when I have the time}. I however, HATE buying cards. I swear I stand in the card aisle for hours looking for the right card. Annoyed, debating, overwhelmed, all kinds of emotions happen in the aisle of Target. My friends and family have come to know my dislike for cards, and understand they should cherish the days when they actually get a card from me.
I bought cards for both of them!
Well, I actually bought 2 cards for my friend. One 2 weeks ago, when I thought I was getting ahead of the game. Then another yesterday when I bought the one for my FBIL. This is the issue entirely. I found a better one the second time shopping, and now have wasted twice as many hours in the card aisle.
But I love them. It was worth the time.
I also wrapped their gifts in paper covered in donuts.
That’s how I rollz.
My friend really loves her birthday, but doesn’t like that it is so close to Christmas. The dislike comes from the fact that she doesn’t like when it gets lumped in with Christmas. So I make sure I always wrap her gift in nothing resembling Christmas paper. Hence, donuts!
You can’t go wrong with donuts. Never.
Oh and this martini. Yum.
You can see how yummy it is, you don’t need me to convince you.
Go make yourself a drink.
Cheers to the last weekend before Christmas!
