MIA- French Get Away

I know, I know. Where did I go?  I promised no more missing in action moments a long time ago, but I have a valid reason.

I was in FRANCE!

It was amazing, beautiful, wonderful, and full of smiles.  I have so many pictures of museums, statuses, buildings and of us goofing around, but I thought it would be more appropriate to share some of the food we ate 🙂

I could eat french bread and drink french wine, every day for the rest of my life.  The first night we arrived we called it an early night and relaxed with a bottle of wine and a baguette. Heaven!

For our first meal in Paris we had savory and sweet crepes.  This started the trip off in such an amazing direction. There is nothing like eating a fresh off the grill crepe in a 8 seat crepe shop on a narrow street in Paris. Shear Bliss!

The Boy loved the street sandwiches.  I hit the jackpot with a sandwich made of roast chicken, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo. It was perfect. Also easy and inexpensive. YUM!

And then there was good pizza 🙂 This was my pizza in Monaco.  We sat at this cute cafe positioned on the corner of a roundabout, where we saw expensive car after expensive car drive by.   Needless to say, I only ate 1/2 of this pizza, but loved every minute of it!

Finally, the Cappuccinos. Can I import these and have them everyday?  I have never had anything like these before. Coffee will never entirely live up to this again… I will think of these fondly and remember France 🙂
