Working on a Refresh

Today I started my first day of the 3 Day Refresh.  I was so excited when this came in the mail recently.  I have been in need of a jump start with my nutrition, and have been putting off trying the new 3 day cleanse from Beachbody for a while now.  I have been putting it off because we always seem to be so busy, and have social engagements all the time. Not very helpful when you are trying to cleanse. I knew its was time to bite the bullet and stop making excuses- no planning something with friends for 3 days, and fully commit.

As a cook and baker, I always find myself struggling with my relationship with food.  I love food, like really LOVE food! Food is my passion and hobby, but it also impacts my weight very negatively when I don’t reign myself in. I have been focusing on cleaning up my cooking, recipes and the food that comes into our house, but even the best laid plan can have hiccups. Eating out is my biggest down fall, and we do that way too often. This 3 Day Refresh is also coming at a great time when The Hubby have made a family goal of eating out less. I can’t wait to get this start down a path to accomplish some of my big goals for this summer {more to come on those soon}.  Bring on this Refresh! Let’s just hope that the bathroom and I stay friends this week 😉

My goals for the refresh 1) Lose a few lbs {of course} 2) reset the way in which I think about my daily eating routine and 3) cleanse my body and eliminate toxins.
