This is more of a ramble post, but it was a story I just had to share.
I woke up the other morning with the most vivid memory of my dream. I personally hate dreaming, so remembering my dreams is not that exciting for me.
Most people find it fun to be able to remember their dreams. Others even enjoy having dreams. I on the other hand can’t stand having dreams. Mainly because after a night of dreaming, I feel super tired and like my brain was working all night.
I had one of these restless nights full of dreams the other night. As soon as I woke up in the morning, even before opening my eyes, I had to tell The Hubby about my dream.
And now I am going to tell you too.
My dream started in a church that I had never been in before. The priest comes up to me and asks me if I could help pass out communion. As a good catholic girl, I agreed right away.
Mass continues and as communion is about to start I get up to help minister. Another gentleman and I were handed bowls to begin passing out communion.
I look down and my bowl is filled with BROCCOLI! Yup, you read that right, my bowl did not contain bread or wafers, it was filled with broccoli. I panicked and began searching the alter for the correct bowls. I didn’t want the parishioners to realize there was a mix up.
I finally found the bag of wafers, but was stopped by the priest. He told me that we only get to give out one option, broccoli or carbohydrates. Broccoli was picked this week because it was better for everyone. Everyone needed to get in more veggies in their diet.
Confused, I shrugged and went back to handing out broccoli for communion. You don’t argue with a priest.
Then I woke up.
Yeah, this is what happens when you think about veggies too much. They invade your dreams.
Or does this dream really mean I should be going to church Sunday?
I guess I should maybe try both, more veggies and more God.
Thank you for reading about my random dreams. Sometimes you just need to share with someone who might understand.
What is the strangest dream you have had lately?
XoXo,
Rachel
