Day 16 of 25 Days of Christmas My Urban Oven Style!
What is your favorite Christmas movie to watch this time of year?
I thought I would tell you mine, and share a recipe at the same time.
Can anyone guess what my favorite movie is based on the recipe I made? A true fan {of the movie} would.
My favorite Christmas movie is The Holiday.
Christmas Fettuccine anyone?
I could watch this movie all year round, but always love watching more during the Christmas season.
As I write this post, I am watching it for the first time this winter.
Does everyone remember the scene where Jack Black is complaining about his love life, and the Kate Winslet proceeds to share her love life story. Jack Black then says hers is so much worse, and that he is going to make her “Christmas Fettuccine”?
The first time I watched the movie I had no idea what “Christmas Fettuccine” was. I guess I still don’t know what Christmas Fettuccine is, but I can make a mean Christmas Fettuccine.
See.
I wrote down the recipe so you can make your own “Christmas Fettuccine”.
My favorite scene in the whole movie is when Cameron Diaz opens the door to find Jude Law standing on her door step {drunk}. There were many times that I wished I were Cameron opening my door to Jude.
Before The Hubby of course {wink}.
I also love the story between Kate and the neighbor who she helps work on his walking. Their relationship is so cute. Meet Cute. It is fun to see their relationship grow, and her to become happy again.
The only thing about the movie that I couldn’t do is not be with my family for Christmas. They kind of just glaze over that fact in the movie. You can kind of forget that it is Christmas during the movie.
Nothing is better than when the movie ends with them all meeting in London for New Years. Dancing in the living room is always the best.
Have you seen The Holiday? What is your favorite Christmas Movie?

I think The Holiday is a cute Christmas movie but my husband isn’t in to it. I think a large plate of fettucine (his favorite) would help convince him 😉
I love one pot meals! This looks amazing! Thanks for trying!
Do you know I’ve never seen The Holiday?! I think my husband and I will watch that tonight! By the way, the fettuccine looks amazing!!!
